Rory is a Certified Digital Forensic Examiner by the Global Information Assurance Certification, a Cellebrite Certified Operator, and a Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst. He is a qualified and established data recovery expert.

Rory currently conducts comprehensive digital forensic examinations, including Mobile Devices, Servers, Desktop and Laptop Computer Systems, external hard drives, digital cameras, flash drives, and other digital based data repository devices. His services have been used by computer forensic companies across the United States, eDiscovery firms, public businesses, private individuals, and the Office of the Public Defender in San Bernardino County for extracting data, analysis, documentation, and testimony in a manner that can be used in criminal cases, civil actions, internal business processes, and personal cases.

In 2021 Rory was designated as an Expert Witness in Digital Forensics for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County.

GCFE Certification

GCFE - GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner

The GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) certification validates a practitioner’s knowledge of computer forensic analysis, with an emphasis on core skills required to collect and analyze data from Windows computer systems. GCFE certification holders have the knowledge, skills, and ability to conduct typical incident investigations including e-Discovery, forensic analysis and reporting, evidence acquisition, browser forensics and tracing user and application activities on Windows systems.

CCO - Cellebrite Certified Operator

The Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO) course is a 2-day intermediate level certification program which builds on the CMFF course concepts. This course is designed for participants tasked with extracting data in a forensically sound manner using UFED Touch or UFED 4PC.

It aims to teach data extraction on a variety of devices to personnel including technically savvy investigators, digital forensic examiners, IT staff, internal affairs investigators, first responders and other staff members designated to handle extraction of digital evidence.

CCPA - Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst

The Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) course is a 3-day advanced level program designed for technically savvy investigators, digital evidence analysts and forensic practitioners. As this course focuses on the analysis and advanced search techniques using Physical Analyzer, participants will not be conducting extractions from devices in this course. Physical Analyzer software will be used extensively to explore recovered deleted data, database contents, advanced search and analysis techniques, verification and validation, and reporting.
